LOPEC 2026 once again brought the global printed electronics community to Munich, gathering researchers, technology developers, and industry leaders working at the forefront of flexible and organic electronics. For the ENLIGHTENED consortium, the event offered a valuable opportunity to connect with partners, showcase technologies, and engage with others shaping the future of the field.
As one of the leading international exhibitions for printed electronics, LOPEC brings together industry and academia to explore new technologies and applications, including energy harvesting solutions relevant to the ENLIGHTENED project.
Several ENLIGHTENED partners were present at LOPEC 2026, representing different parts of the printed electronics value chain. Companies and research organizations including Epishine, Fraunhofer ISE, FLEXOO, TracXon, and Brilliant Matters highlighted the breadth of expertise within the consortium—from advanced materials and indoor photovoltaics to system integration and printed electronics applications.
ENLIGHTENED-related technologies could also be spotted on the exhibition floor, as Epishine showcased their indoor organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells used in the project, while TracXon presented demonstrators connected to light energy harvesting applications. Events like LOPEC provide valuable opportunities for partners to connect with the wider ecosystem and exchange insights with other innovators in the field.
The event also celebrated innovation across the printed electronics sector, with consortium partners FLEXOO and TracXon receiving recognition for their respective work at LOPEC, underlining the strong innovation capabilities present within the consortium.

LOPEC is also an important meeting point for the community. During the event, partners had the opportunity to catch up with industry peers, researchers, and technology developers working in areas such as energy harvesting, IoT, and flexible electronics, exchanging perspectives on the latest developments in the field.
With strong partner participation and multiple touchpoints across the exhibition, ENLIGHTENED was clearly visible at LOPEC 2026. As the project progresses, continued engagement in international events will remain an important way to share developments, connect with stakeholders, and highlight the potential of light-powered flexible hybrid electronics.
